Located on the outskirts of the small Norman village of Lessard-et-le-Chêne, in the heart of the Pays d’Auge, in the Calvados department, Domaine des Essarts is an organic cider farm.
The property consists of a magnificent farmhouse completely restored according to the rules of Norman craftsmanship, typical of the region, and a new winery that mixes modern architecture with authentic. Enjoy a getaway closer to nature surrounded by orchards, traditional houses and Normandy bocage. Visit of the farm, the cider house, the chicken coop, walk in the different orchards of the domain, tasting of organic products from the farm and the local terroir, tables and guest rooms are some of the possibilities that we offer. Dana, cellar master and cidrologist by training, will be happy to introduce you to its range of products from the estate: Raw or semi-dry cider, robust, round or mellow, lively or floral pear, pommeau, apple cider vinegar, apple juice. Mirabelle plum, Reine-claude or quetsche jam. Cider or quince jelly as well as delicious fruit fruit chutneys. All our products are available for direct sale in stores.
